This November 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of the John F. Kennedy assassination. The DVD, Parkland, looks at this pivotal day in American history through the eyes of ordinary people who find themselves in the midst of the chaos that followed the assassination.There is a roster of great actors, including Paul Giamatti as Abraham Zapruder. The story of his now infamous film of the Kennedy motorcade is the best part of the movie.
Parkland tries to tell too many stories, and comes off a bit disjointed. If you enjoy docu-dramas, check out Parkland. This DVD was released today.
